Joyce continues the celebration of the release of LOVE’S LANGUAGES, her new multi-language jazz CD. Joyce’s rich, intimate, often sensual, (sometimes humorous) takes on beloved standards are elevated a few notches by their French and Spanish lyrics. Added to the CD’s mix are a chart-topping Portuguese ballad and a true classic from Turkey.
Joining Joyce onstage are recent Grammy-winners D.D. Jackson, (Arranger, Musical Director, piano) and Gerry Gibbs (drums); as well as master bassist Paul West, up-and-coming flautist Gabrielle Garo, former Randy Weston band members, T.K. Blue on sax and Neil Clarke on percussion. Additional guest musicians planned.
